Career Moves
Upon graduation from law school, Sandy joined the New York law firm of
Weil, Gotshal & Manges, where he was a member of the litigation and
securities litigation departments. In 1986 Sandy moved to Boston and joined
the firm of Widett, Slater & Goldman, P.C., where he became a shareholder.
Sandy joined Hutchins, Wheeler & Dittmar as a shareholder in 1992
and served as chair of its litigation department for three years and also
served as chair of its ethics and hiring committees. In 2003, Sandy joined
Yurko, Salvesen & Remz.
Practice
Sandy provides an uncommon level of personal commitment and high-quality
legal service to help prominent organizations and individuals accomplish
their business objectives. Sandy focuses his practice on business litigation
matters, including securities, shareholder, and corporate control and
partnership disputes. He had also handled a wide variety of litigation
matters related to real estate, non-competition and trade secrets, insurance
coverage, product liability, trademark and unfair competition and other
complex business matters. He has succeeded in numerous battles on
behalf of businesses, executives, and other significant individuals before
a variety of federal and state courts, arbitration panels, and alternative
dispute resolution forums.
